GIBSON, Lois May
Lois passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Elsie and Allan Chesworth; and her sister Edythe McDonald of Moose Jaw. Lois is survived by her husband of 66 years, Burt; daughter Julie (Fred) Cockburn of Briercrest, SK; son Ron (Blanca) Gibson of Calgary, AB; granddaughter Glenda (Trevor) Knez; grandson Tim (Megan) Cockburn; great-grandchildren, Porter Cockburn, Ally Cockburn, Piper Knez, and Casey Knez; niece Gail (Joe) Singer; and nephews, Jim McDonald and Don (Shirley) McDonald. Lois lived her entire life in Saskatchewan, including Moose Jaw, Shamrock, Craven, and Birch Hills, before retiring in the city she so loved, Regina. She was a gifted artist, lover of nature, Blue Jays fan, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lois found great pleasure in simply having a coffee or card game with friends and family. At her request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Flowers graciously declined. Friends so wishing may make donations in memory of Lois to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1. Lois’s family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Harbour Landing Village for their exceptional care and support.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lois
