It is with great sadness and loss that our family announces the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and uncle, Dwayne Lindberg of Owlseye, at the age of 72. Dwayne will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Lindberg; 3 daughters & 1 son, Lisa (Jack) VandenBerg of St. Paul, John (Kristi) Lindberg of Grande Prairie, Sandra (Eldon) Weinmeier of Boscombe & Janice (Harley) Thompson of Owlseye; 7 grandchildren, Kaylee & Jordan VandenBerg, Wyllo & Vylet Lindberg, Sheldon (Melissa) Weinmeier, Ally & Zach Thompson; great-grandchildren, Hadley & Parker Weinmeier; mother, Kay Lindberg; brother, Laverne (Sherry) Lindberg; brother-in-law, Terry Melnychuk; numerous nieces, nephews, inlaws & extended family. Dwayne was predeceased by his father, Stan; sister, Trudy Melnychuk; & niece, Gina Lindberg. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agriplex, Ashmont. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Willow Grove Cemetery, Owlseye. Dwayne was an avid supporter of Haying in the 30s. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30s (Cancer Support Society) or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1.
