McBride, Linda (nee Sawyer)
Passed away with her family by her side at Mount Sinai Hospital on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the age of 71. With strength and determination, Linda fought a courageous battle against colon cancer. Beloved wife of 49 years to Bob. Proud and loving mother of Annisa (Jeremy) Prins, Michelle (Jamie) Thompson and Brian (Andrea). Devoted nana of Tyler, Gage, Connor, Ashton, Keegan, Carter, Isabella, Briar and Olivia. Dear sister of Marion Gadsby and David Sawyer.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Shelburne Cemetery. If desired, donations to Primrose United Church or Kerry’s Place would be appreciated.
