SHACKELFORD, Lillie (Nicolls, Hutchinson)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Lillie. Born in Harborton, Virginia July 18, 1919, she was the 6th child of (the late) Francis E and Mary Winder (Lytle) Nicolls. She is survived by children Jane (Gerry) Bennett and Phil N. Hutchinson; 4 grandsons and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews across America. Also, Joy (Shackelford) Bowden and family. Predeceased by sisters Alice Nicolls, Frances Badger and brothers Carroll, James and a baby brother. Also predeceased by our dad, Raymond M Hutchinson and second husband William (Buddy) Shackelford.
Cremation has taken place. Mom will be laid to rest in Virginia at a later date.
The family would like to send a special THANK YOU to the wonderful staff and friends made at the Admiral Long Term Care facility in Dartmouth. You were family too and made her last years happy and safe.
