Obituary for
Leslie Jensson
Leslie Edward Jensson
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leslie Edward Jensson on Wednesday may 9, 2018 at his home in McInnes Creek. Leslie was born in Rainy River on October 18, 1937. He will be greatly missed by his brother Stanford (Maxine) of Dryden, ON., sisters Grace Pearson of Smithers, B.C. and Judy (Gary) Cwiak of Winnipeg, MB. and his many nieces and nephews and special cousin Hugh Jensson.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Stella and brother Clarence.
He was very active at the McInnis Creek Chapel. For many years he looked after the cemetery and for the Christmas dinners he would decorate the tree and do the outside lights. For the spring yard sale he would go to Canadian tire and buy new things.
He always looked forward to his cousin Hugh coming for his morning coffee. He and Hugh would sometimes go ice fishing and in the summer go out on the boat.
He loved to plant a garden and flowers. He had many apple trees and would love to give them away in the fall. He farmed on the family farm all his life.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the McInnes Creek Chapel. Interment will take place in McInnes Creek Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to McInnes Creek Chapel c/o of Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, ON, P0W 1E0
