Peacefully Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury with loving family at his side.
Beloved husband of Paola (Bellardi) Francolini. Loving father of Alessandro and David both predeceased, Guendalin (husband Norman McBean), Nancy (husband Nick Tasillo), Dario (wife Rebecca) and Bryan (wife Nicole). Cherished Nonno of Sibonne, Santanya, Marissa, Alessandro, Lucia, Eric, Vanessa and great grandchild Andreas. Dear son of Alessandro and Annunziata Francolini predeceased. Dear brother of Itala, Piera, and Pierino all predeceased. Special uncle to Susan, Connie, Paola, Merice, Loredana and late Gian-Franco predeceased. Lovingly remembered by relatives in Italy. A longtime Coniston resident, Leonardo was an avid member of the Canadian Racing Pigeon Union. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. A keen gardener his green thumb produced bountiful vegetables. He was a Marchegiane Club. Leonardo was devoted to his loving family.
