Lee Doshewnek Rombough 2018

Lee Rombough (Doshewnek)
1928 – 2018
It is with great sorrow that we announce Lee’s passing on November 25, 2018 at the age of 90 years.
Lee was born in a small farmhouse on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River (Wasel, Alberta). She was the youngest of five brothers and one sister. Lee worked for the provincial government for 42 years.
Lee passed away in a long-term care facility in Red Deer after fighting Alzheimer disease for many years. She was comfortable until the last four days, when she developed heavy pain, but she was kept comfortable.
She is survived by her husband Ken (Larry) of 58 years. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law and a number of nieces and nephews.
Lee wished no funeral. She wanted to be cremated and laid to rest in the Castor, Alberta cemetery and to be joined there by her husband later. She has been cremated and interment will take place at a later date.
We would like to thank Dr. Ako Anyaduba and the staff of Michener Extendicare in Red Deer, for the friendship and care they provided for Lee.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society c/o Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium, Box 1780, Stettler, AB T0C 2L0, who were entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements 403-742-3422
