OBITUARY
Lawrence “Larry” Leonard Lewin
March 2, 1925 – June 14, 2018
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Stirling Heights LTC in his 94th year.
Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Kay) Lewin. Loving father of Lynn (Paul) Smith, Kathy (Edward) Pendle, Wendy (Brian) Dickieson and Lawrence S. Lewin. Grandfather of Jason (Annette) Smith, Jennifer Smith, Katie (Nicholas) Baerg, Shawn (Jessica) Pendle, Ethan Eby and Elizabeth Eby (Adam). Great-grandfather of Alysa, Alex, Abigail, Jack, Molly, Zachary and Emma. Also survived by his brother Barry (Betty) Lewin and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Len and Lucy Lewin, brother Raymond Lewin and sister Gwyneth Boyd.
Larry was a proud World War II Veteran, faithful member of Westside Presbyterian Church, lifetime member of Galt Country Club, and retired employee of Canadian General Towers. The Lewin family would like to thank Stirling Heights LTC for their loving care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Westside Presbyterian Church, 130 Victoria Avenue, Cambridge on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
