(Jewish Immigration Aid Services) who helped him come to Canada. Never one to give up on seeking justice for the war time wrongs inflicted upon him, the passage of time brought great healing and he befriended those that would have been his enemies. Later in life he joined the Canadian Legion, so that they would know that he never forgot what the Canadian soldiers had done to help him survive and have both opportunities and a good life in Canada. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, September 13, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Sydenham Road at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation to Beth Israel Congregation.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Laszlo Kornstein 2018..
