DENTON, LaReta Gertrude “Reta” age 87 of Little River, passed away peacefully Monday, March 5, 2018 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Lequille. Born in Waterford, Digby County, Reta was the only daughter of the late Alfred and Louisa (Pyne) Sanderson. She was a member of the Little River Baptist Church. She always enjoyed Sunday drives with Ed and in more recent years listening to those who came to play music and play bingo.

In keeping with Reta’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will a celebration of Reta’s life at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ken Buchholz and all the nursing, kitchen and environmental staff at Annapolis Royal Nursing home for their excellent and compassionate care.
