Lai Ting Ho
Passed away on December 11, 2018
Tina Lai Ting Ho passed away peacefully on December 11, 2018, in Burnaby, British Columbia at the age of 79. Tina was born in China in 1939 and later lived in Hong Kong before arriving in Vancouver, Canada in 1960 to marry her beloved husband, Steve. In her early years, she enjoyed hosting weekend family dinners with her husband. Tina worked various part-time jobs while raising her family before retiring in 1994, at which time she spent more quality time with her daughters and grandchildren. Predeceased by husband Steve Chikew Ho in December 1994, Tina’s independence led her to move to Burnaby into a new condo in 1996, in which she took great pride.
Tina loved to shop. She was also a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching the Canucks, Whitecaps, and BC Lions. Tina especially enjoyed celebrating family events with her three daughters, seven grandchildren and three son-in-laws.
Tina will be forever missed and is survived by her loving daughters Virginia (Val), Vivian (Tom), Judy (Doug) and grandchildren Lauren, Dustin, Alex, Brooke, Ryan, Matthew and Jenna.
