Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018, David LaChance in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Judy LaChance (MacFarlane) (née Dawson) for over 38 years. Loving father of Craig (Bridget) LaChance of Dobbinton, Nanci Caldwell of Collingwood and Lisa (Clint) Nielsen of Midland. Adored grandfather of Austin and Connor Caldwell, Cody and Brandon Fetter, Logan and Nadine, and great-grandfather of three. Dear brother of Paul (Annie) LaChance of Montreal and Sandy (Chris) of New York. Predeceased by his parents, Bill and May LaChance. David loved nature and the outdoors, enjoyed fly fishing, tying flies and hunting. He was a dedicated painter and decorator at Kellogg’s and Bruce Power for many years. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Woodhull Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of David are asked to consider the London Humane Society, Animalert or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
