Kyle Dean Westgard
April 19, 1986 – April 13, 2018
Kyle Dean Westgard entered this world on April 19, 1986 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. After a long hard battle with a life, threatening bacteria aggressively attacking his heart he passed on April 13, 2018 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK.
To those who knew Kyle he was always a very competitive person, whether it was playing video games with his best friends, Twenty-One with his sisters or Monopoly with Kaybree, no one got a break. He played and was passionate about hockey and was an avid Vancouver Canuk fan. Kyle was an extremely kind soul who gave his love and support to everyone. He was always just a phone call away from lending a hand, an ear or any other support that was needed.
Kyle’s life was forever changed on April 13, 2007 when his beautiful, blue eyed daughter, Kaybree entered this world. He was an amazing father who loved Kaybree more than anything. Not only was Kyle a great father, son, brother and friend he was an awesome uncle that was lucky to meet and spend time with his niece Graycee over the last 6 months. Graycee adored Kyle as much as he adored her.
Kyle will always be remembered for that mischivieous, crooked smile and a charm that could warm your heart instantly. He will be loved and missed by so many.
Kyle is survived by his daughter Kaybree Westgard, mother Audra Westgard, sisters Santana Ireland (Josh Richardson)and Shay Ireland, as well as an aunt, uncles and numerous cousins.
Kyle was predeceased by his grandparents, Sam and Guen Westgard, and aunts Melita (Molly) and Elda Westgard
