Klaus Wand died peacefully at his Powassan farm, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, with family by his side. He was in his 78th year. Klaus was the beloved husband of Ursula and father of Nicola, Birgit (Jim), Christoph (Angela) and Markus (Jennifer). He was the proud Opa of grandchildren Nickolas, Alex, Charliese, Alyssa, Mattias, Isaac, and Bronson. Klaus was the dear brother of George, Otto and Roswitha. He has been a dairy, beef and sheep farmer in Powassan for 43 years. Family and friends are invited to gather at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow and spring interment of ashes will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church Building Fund are suggested (cheques only please).
