Kenton Jarrett Carr-Hall 2018

Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory of Kenton
Kenton Jarrett Carr-Hall March 13 1990 – September 30 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our wonderful son and brother Kenton who left us too soon on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the age of 28.
Beloved first-born son of Franci Carr and the late Robert (Bob) Hall (predeceased Nov 17 2014) and dearly loved older brother of Evan Carr-Hall. Forever loved and missed nephew of: Glenna Carr (Alan Gordon) and Cassie Carr-Harris (Robert Harris) and cousin Dory Carr-Harris; Sharon and Jim Hall and cousins Melissa, Sarah and Andrea. Lovingly reunited with his Dad: Bob Hall, Grammy Frances and Grandpa Bill Carr, and Grandma Bert and Grandpa Stew Hall.
Kenton will be missed by his Laurier friends where he graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2013; he will be missed by his Oakville Trafalgar High School friends and cohort with whom he went through the French immersion program since Linbrook Public School days. Kenton had a quick, bright mind and loved anything to do with computers, math and video games. He was an avid book reader and continuous learner searching for inspirational books and always keen to explore the latest trends in health, fitness and nutrition. Kenton was a fearless, ‘give it your all’ athlete who played soccer, football, and rugby during his school years and returned to soccer to play in a men’s league with his brother and friends until sidelined by an injury. Kenton translated his love of video games, a background in finance and the freedom of the outdoors into various jobs in software development, financial analysis and landscaping. Kenton was devoted to and deeply loved his family and took all responsibilities seriously, with thoughtful kindness from his very caring heart. He never wanted to let anyone down, even when he had to step back from friends or activities during times he struggled with mental health issues. Kenton loved to go out for re-energizing runs and we hope he is now running free and at peace.
The family will receive friends at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (at Dundas St.) 905-257-8822 on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. A memorial service and celebration of Kenton’s life will be held in the Glen Oaks Chapel on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at 6 p.m. Reception in the lounge to follow until 9 p.m.
Online condolences and cherished memories can be shared with Kenton’s family using the online guestbook.
Memorial donations can be made in Kenton’s name to the Canadian Mental Health Association Halton Region Branch at: halton.cmha.ca/get-involved/donate/

Sympathies message

  1. It is with sadness that I received the news of Kenton’s passing. Way too early to let go of such a promising life. Franci, I are thinking about you and sending you and your family the warmth of the Australian sun to heal your heart and nourish you as much as possible in this trying and difficult time.
    Sincerely,
    Kira Leeb
