Ken passed away peacefully at the QE11 Hospital in Grande Prairie, on May 5th at the age of 59, from ALS.
Ken enjoyed trucking, playing his guitar, riding his motorcycle, and hanging with his cousin Len. He had a good sense of humor and always tried to crack a joke.
Ken is survived by his daughter Leanne (Kelly), his sons Kelsey, Brett, Scott, his grandchildren; Ty, Jhett, Cerek, his sisters; Diane (Dave), Sharon (Harry) his stepsisters; Beverly(Steve), Brenda (Rob).
He was predeceased by his parents George and Nancy Purich.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 am on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the St Michael’s Cemetery in Radway, Alberta. (Also known as the weasel creek cemetery) in the Thorhild County.
The Purich family would like to extend our gratitude to all the care aids at “We Care” in Cranbrook B.C. and “The Nurse Next Door” in Grande Prairie, for making Ken’s last days easier as well as the staff at the U of A Hospital, the ALS Clinic, and the staff at the QEII Hospital, and WCB for all their help, patience, and assistance with the care needed to keep Ken comfortable. Thank you very much!!
