BARKER, Kenneth Wayne
(Naval Veteran, proud member of the Navy Club, RCL Br. #52 and retired CGE employee) Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the PRHC in his 81st year. Beloved husband of May for over 42 years. Loving father of Brenda Palmateer , Sherry Barker, Laurie Hill (Randy) Darren Barker, Cheryl Guthrie, Heather Guthrie, Darlene Damiani (Ron), Bill Guthrie, Norm Quade (Pauline) and the late Tammy Smith and Andy Guthrie. Grandpa will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear son of the late William and Evelyn nee Sherwin. Cherished brother of Gord (Pat), Betty Raham (Don), Clarence (Pat), Ross (the late Iva), Fred (the late Judy) the late Shirley Jarvis (Frank), Ralph (Beverly) and Doug. Brother-in-law of John Young (Kay), David, Allan (Joy), Joan Bernay (the late Charles). Ken will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, their extended families and his many friends. There will be a Celebration of Ken’s Life from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 MONAGHAN ROAD, S. 705-745-3211. A Legion Service will commence at 1:45 p.m. in the Nisbett Chapel. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In memory of Ken, donations to the War Amps would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Nursing staff of B2, the Physio staff and Doctors of the PRHC for their care and compassion during Ken’s stay.
