In Loving Memory of
Kenneth Wallace “Kenny” Walker
Passed away peacefully at the Haliburton Hospital on Thursday, June 7, 2018 following a long battle with Bone Cancer. Ken was 57 years old.
Beloved son of Gladys and the late Arnold Walker. Dear brother of Gwen (A.J. Hewitt), Alan (deceased 1973), Scott (Jean), Sherry (Ron Coe), Marilyn (Rick Denyer), and uncle of Greg, Liana, Lisa, Steven, Julie, Cathy, Walker, Alyssa, Joanna and Leanne. Fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Kenny’s family would like to Thank the Sunnybrook Hospital “The Odette Cancer Centre”, the doctors, nurses and staff at the Haliburton Hospital, Dr. Christine Stephenson, Rachel Fearrey, Terri-Lynn Ritchie, the PSW’s and nurses who came to the house, and a special thank-you to Marjorie “Mush Mush” for all the loving care and support provided.
A Memorial Gathering for Kenny will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #636, Minden on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation- Palliative Care Centre (HHHSF-PCC) would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
