Milne, Kenneth Mervyn
~ Passed away peacefully at St.
Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Friday, November 16, 2018
at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Irene Milne (nee
Virag). Loved father of Christopher Milne (Debbie Kidd) of
Port Elgin, Douglas Milne of Guelph and Amanda Milne (Edward Deeney)
of Mississauga. Proud grandfather of Taylor (Akshay), Kyle,
Liam and Rory. Dear brother of Muriel Milne, Shirley
(Bingham) King and Dorothy Milne. Fondly remembered by the
Virag Families, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former teachers
and students at John F. Ross where Ken taught Science for over 27
years, retiring in 1989. Predeceased by his twin brothers
Richard and Raymond (1946) and his parents John and Greta
Milne. Ken was an advocate for persons with disabilities and
the recipient of the Governor General’s Caring Award for his
years of volunteering with Community Living. Cremation has
taken place. Interment at Mount St. Josephs Cemetery Port
Colborne. A celebration of Ken’s life will be
announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions to Community Living or to
Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated.
