KEITH “PUTT” PETCOFF
Keith Ray Petcoff, age 62, of Saskatoon passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was born in Central Butte on March 8, 1956 and grew up in the close knit community of Lawson. He was predeceased by his parents, Bud and Muriel Petcoff. Keith will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 30 years, Debbie; his sister, Joyce (Harry); nephews Quinn (Carrie) and Nolan (Ashley); niece Kayla (Jason); great-nephews, Wyatt and Liam; and great-niece, Rosalie; uncle, Gordon; and aunts, Jean and Joyce. Also Debbie’s family – brother, Kenny (deceased) (Elaine) and their children Lynn (Marty), Lyle (Vanessa) and Maria; sister, Leona (Jack) and their daughter Shannon (Alan) and little Dreyden; brother, Gary (deceased); sister, Edna (Bruce) and their children, Stefanie and Brandon; brother, Darrell; and many, many cousins.
Keith was a mechanic who started work as an apprentice at Jubilee Motors in Central Butte and finished his career as a school bus mechanic for Hertz and Prairie Spirit School Division. In the years between he worked and made friends wherever he went. He continued to farm until a couple of years ago. Sports and the lake were a big part of his life growing up. He played hockey for 50 years. He was a gentle man, easy to like with a zinger sense of humor.
A Memorial Service will be held from Mayfair United Church, 902 33rd Street West, Saskatoon, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
