“Nat” Murray, age 80, of New Glasgow, and a
long-time resident of Trenton, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Clara
Fraser. She was a former employee of K Mart. She was a loving and
caring mother and grandmother and very devoted to her family. Mom,
“Nannie”, was a loving sports fan following her
three grandsons in hockey rinks and ballfields. Nat cherished all time
spent with family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer
Murray, New Glasgow, and grandson, Colton, Alberta; son, Robert
(Paula), Trenton, and grandsons: Craig (Christena), New Glasgow,
Matthew, New Glasgow, and their mother and friend, Jennifer;
brother-in-law: Donald G. (Jean) Murray, New Glasgow; sister-in-law,
Carol Murray, Alberta; special friends: Charlie and Margie Fergus;
Susan Tanner and Bonnie Hafey. She was predeceased by her loving
husband, Alan W. “Demp” Murray and brother, Henry
Fraser. There will be no visitation. A public graveside service will
be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 10, in Hillside Cemetery, with Fr.
Donald Boudreau officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice. Arrangements
are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral
Home.
