Sad to say “Good-bye” to our beloved Mother, Nana and Great grandmother, but grateful for her long and happy life. Kathleen Mary Shaw, of Tillsonburg on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Maple Manor Nursing Home, at the age of 95 years. A War Bride from the Isle of Man, U.K., to her late husband Bill Shaw (1988). She loved her “wee” house on Nova Scotia Line, Port Burwell and stayed there sixty-nine years. Kathleen then moved to Tillsonburg to be near to her children. She leaves behind her children Sandra (Frank), and Chris (Bonnie). Her grandchildren Kirsty, Jenny (Chris), and Kirk (Shoshana). Great grandmother to Brynn Shaw. Cherished by her nieces and nephews in the Isle of Man, the United States of America, and Canada. In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a private graveside service at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Port Burwell Cemetery, at a later date. In Kathleen’s memory, please perform a small act of kindness. Memorial donations to the Sunshine Foundation may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
