Kathleen “Kay” Petley
Kathleen
“Kay” Petley, 90, of Harcourt, passed away peacefully at The
Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Wednesday,
November 7, 2018.
Born in
Aberdeen Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Jessie
Ann (Allan) Scott.
Kay was a
former operator for the Federal & Provincial Environmental
Departments; former employee of the T. Eaton Co., Moncton and a former
Weather Station Manager. She attended St. Matthew’s Anglican
Church in Harcourt and was a member of the Ladies Guild within the
Church. She was also a member of the Harcourt Senior Citizens
Association.
Kay will be
sadly missed by her husband, Everett Petley; granddaughter, Sherry;
great grandchildren, Danny, Alexander and Quinton as well as several
nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Gary (1999); grandson,
Troy; sisters, Lexie, Maribel, Christina and Alice and brothers,
Arthur and Jimmy.
In keeping
with Kay’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or
funeral service. Private family graveside service will be held in
Harcourt Presbyterian Cemetery.
Funeral
arrangements entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995).
In memory of
Kay, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be
