Kateryna (Baba) Welyki
On October 27, 2018, Kateryna, affectionately known as “Baba”, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years.
Kateryna will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her son, Bill; daughter, Nataly (Paul) Belliveau; and daughters-in-law, Glennis (Enzo) and Cathy. She was adored by her grandchildren, Ian (Jen), Joanne, Christopher (Wendy), Trina, Andrea, Jennifer (Darren), Janine (Jenny) and Jonathan; as well as her great grandchildren, Damian, Brody, Suzannah, Brooklynn, Lincoln and Adriana. Predeceased by her husband, George; sons, Peter and Walter; granddaughter, Jacqueline; her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral Rite Saturday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Elia, 11833 – 66 Street, Edmonton. Father Georg Podtepa officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery
