In Loving Memory
SKOURTIS, Katerina – Peacefully at home with grace and dignity on Wednesday April 18, 2018 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late John Skourtis and daughter of Speros and Panagiota Kanellos.
Dear mother of Chris (Kim Kot), Georgia (Harry Karlos) and Peter (Joanne Karlos). Loving grandmother of Justine, Johnnie, Katie, George, James and Nayia. Dear sister of Mike Kanellos (Koula). Predeceased by three brothers, Gus (Christina), Theodore (Koula) and James (Fotoula) Kanellos. Dear sister in law of Katina Mavraganis (Jim). Predeceased by Marina Sapkaras (Peter), Ntina Lekkas (Elias), Nota Skarimbas (George) and Peter Skourtis.
A heartfelt thank you to Mihaela Corca and Kathy Howard for their friendship, loving support and care.
The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid & Sons “The Chapel on Corner” , 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street), Kingston on Friday April 20, 2018 from 6-9pm. Father Matthew Penney will commence prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral service will be held at Koimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 121 Johnson Street, on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 11:30am. Interment following at Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Greek Orthodox Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
