Obituary for Karolina “Carrie” Irving (Kanski)
Passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at the age of 94 years, Karolina “Carrie” Irving (nee Kanski), formerly of Winnipeg Beach MB.
Born September 2, 1923 in Foley MB, she married Edward Irving in Winnipeg Beach MB.
Carrie leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Carol (Wayne) Fulford of Glenboro, Patricia (Alvis) Zelezen of Winnipeg, Marion Lapointe of Winnipeg, seven grandchildren Kelly (Erica), Eric (Meghan), Jeremy (Christine), Diane (Darcy), Jenny, Shawna, Karrie (Vic); 18 great grandchildren Noah, Ethan Leila, Teiler, Azia, Devon, Justin, Taytam, Erika, Noah, Matthew, Easten, Joshua, Nolan & Jason. She is also survived by a sister Nellie Willaby, brothers Bill Kanski, Peter Kanski & Mike Kanski as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Carrie was predeceased by her husband Edward Irving, sisters Mary Kanski, Pauline Olsen, Helen Slater and by son-in-law Ron Lapointe.
A Celebration of Life Carrie’s life will be held at Winnipeg Beach, MB at a later date in. Interment will take place in the Winnipeg Beach Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Carrie’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2430-#3 Victoria Ave. Brandon MB R7B 0M5 or to the Winnipeg Beach Legion Branch #61, Winnipeg Beach MB R0C 3G0.
