In Loving Memory of
It is with the greatest of sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Karen Lee on Thursday, December 20, 2018 with her mother Valerie by her side.
She is joining her father Stanley who passed away February 10, 2017 as well as her grandparents Cliff and Jenny Fawcett and Loise and Mary Pogany.
Karen is survived by her mother Valerie; brother Randy (Lisa); uncles Peter (Lydia) Fawcett, Alex (Muriel) Pogany; as well as many cousins and friends.
Karen attended Grant Road School and Campbell Collegiate. During her high school days she volunteered at the Regina General Hospital and later joined the staff in a couple of positions She was a member of Toast Masters, Queen City Clowns, Healthy, Wealthy and Wise as a life coach and the Disabled Women’s Network. Karen also was a funeral director, school bus driver, paratransit driver and worked in retail.
Karen was a very compassionate, caring and friendly person from the time she was a small little girl. She brought a smile to everyone. Karen bravely fought breast and brain cancer with humour and hope.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
Donations in memory of Karen may be made to the Regina Humane Society, PO Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7.
