Peacefully, with family by her side on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound. June (nee Weir) of Owen Sound, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Paul (2004). Dear Mother of Lynn and her husband Bill Millman of Owen Sound, Norm and his wife Erika of Orangeville, Elaine Pontet (the late Denis) of Owen Sound, Andrew and his wife Jeannine of Amherstview, and Mathew Harper and his partner Jeff Currie of Richmond Hill. Predeceased by her beloved dog, Daisy and Daisy’s brother Kirby. Also predeceased by 2 sisters, Marjorie Munro and Yvonne Melvin. Proud Grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 9th, 2018 from 2:00 – 5:00pm at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10th, 2018 at 1:00pm at Central Westside United Church, 310 10th Street West, Owen Sound. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Reception following at Central Westside United Church.
Memorial donation to Central Westside United Church Operations would be appreciated by the family.
