OBITUARY
June Elizabeth Landry
August 21, 1931 – October 27, 2018
June Elizabeth Landry 87, of Halifax died peacefully in her sleep on October 27, 2018, at Parkland nursing home. June was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Landry, who passed away May 30, 2009, and her daughter Debra McLaughlin of Colorado, who joined her father, Ken in 2016. She is survived by her son, Bob and daughter-in-law, Shari; Brothers Graham Davis of Halifax and Gordon Davis in Ottawa. June leaves behind her three cherished grand daughters, Jennifer, Haley and Hannah as well as many nieces and nephews.
June worked with Canada Employment and Immigration on Spring Garden Road for many years before moving to the Bedford location where she eventually retired. She loved painting, gardening, working with stained glass. Her biggest passion was her love of animals. Over the years, June had many dogs, each who held a special place in her heart. June was lucky enough to have had “Junior” a pet monkey for many years.
A Service and a Celebration of Life will be held at Cruikshank’s Funeral home at 2666 Windsor Street at two o’clock on Wednesday, October 31.
Burial will be held at later date.
