Juliette Beshara (Lafontaine)
Juliette Beshara, aged 95, died peacefully on August 7, 2018 at the Montfort hospital in Ottawa, after a brief struggle with pneumonia. Juliette was born December 30, 1922, in Gracefield, Quebec, the daughter of Arthur Lafontaine and Eugénie Guinard. In 1945, Juliette married Nicholas Beshara, her loving husband of 58 years. In addition to raising their seven children, Juliette also was a capable carpenter and Jill-of-all-trades, long before it was fashionable. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening and the outdoors, but in her later years art became her passion. Painting and drawing filled Juliette’s days with the joy of living. She also loved to study her Bible. Juliette was predeceased by her husband Nicholas. She was also predeceased by her youngest son Daniel John Beshara, as well as all her siblings. Juliette is survived by her children, Paul, Peter, Grace, Jane, Gloria, Ruth as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a funeral talk being given at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, at 1250 Caron St. in Rockland, Ontario on August 18th, 2018, at 4 pm. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
