Julie
Pearse
October 4, 1971 – December 29, 2017
Kathleen Julie Pearse, 46, passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2017.
Julie was born in Wainwright, Alberta to Dianne and Brian Dunn on October 4, 1971. The Dunn family resided in Vermilion, Alberta where Julie and her sister Shannon grew up. After high school, Julie moved to Lloydminster where her first daughter Mallory was born. She met Al a few years later, and in 1994, Jenna was born. The following August, Al and Julie got married and then honeymooned in Banff. In 1998, Al’s work moved them to Fort Saskatchewan where a year later Carley was born. In 2005 they moved to Grande Prairie where they built their dream home and Julie started a travel agent business.
Julie enjoyed spending time outdoors with some adventure. She loved camping and quadding with Al and the girls. Julie’s work took her and Al on many interesting trips to tropical locations. She loved riding her motorcycle, as did Al, and over the years she planned a number of extensive motorbike trips for them in North America.
Julie is survived by her husband, Al, her daughters, Mallory, Jenna, and Carley, her parents, Dianne and Brian, her sister, Shannon, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Hazel and Creighton.
The funeral service will be held at The Richmond Reception Center, 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie at 2 pm on January 5, 2018.
