PLUMLEY, Judith Elizabeth “Judy” (nee Spears) – After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, on Thursday, September 27th, 2018 in her 67th year. Judy: beloved wife and best friend of Eugene “Gene”; Devoted and loving mother of Troy (Andrea) and Jane (Kevin Record); Adoring grandmother of Layn, Jordan and Morgan; Cherished sister of Sherlene Hurl (John) and Roy Spears (Beth); Dear sister-in-law of Kerry, the late Kevin (Denise), Ken (Betty) and Wayne. Judy is predeceased by her father Max Spears. Aunt Judy will be sadly missed by many close and dear nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and lovingly remembered by her friends and all who knew her. In keeping with Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road. There will be a Celebration of Life Reception to follow at the Peterborough Naval Association, 24 Whitlaw Street. The interment of Judy’s ashes will take place at a later date at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
