Stratton, Joyce Eileen
With heavy hearts the family announces Joyce’s peaceful passing at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Friday December 28, 2018 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Stratton. Cherished mother David (Donna), Sharon (Doug) Moir, Gary (Karen), Linda Ferreira (late Rick), and Andrew (Leigh-Ann). Predeceased by her oldest daughter Edi Martin (Carl). Proud and loving Gramma of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sadly missed and always lovingly remembered by many dear family members and friends. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., in Barrie on Thursday January 3, 2019 from 11am until the time we celebrate her life in the chapel at 1 pm. A reception will follow on site. The family would like to take this opportunity to especially thank all of the staff at Millcreek Care Centre for the wonderful care Joyce received during her stay. Thank you. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated.
