Peacefully and in accordance with her wishes, at home and surrounded by her loving family, on February 6, 2018. Joyce was 95 years young. Predeceased by her husband George (1974). Devoted and cherished mother of the late Richard (late Patricia), Marie (late René) Aloma, Suzanne (Barry) Gaul, Philip, Denise (late Kent) Billinghurst, Joseph (Gail), Michelle (Doug) Ivey, and Matthew (Denise). Treasured Gran to 14 grandchildren and dearest Granny to 17 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Bert Shaw (England).
Joyce served in the RAF as an MT Driver and came to Canada as a war bride on the Queen Mary in 1946. Joyce’s trademark laugh will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
