OBITUARY
Joyce Marie Rhodenizer, formerly of Fall River, passed from this life on October 23 which was sixteen years to the day after the passing of her beloved mother. She was the loving wife of Douglas Rhodenizer until his passing in March of 2017. Joyce was the daughter of Clifford and Olive Bowers and is survived by her siblings Eric, Bob, Keith, Sharon, Sheila and Ross. She was predeceased by her sister Peggy and her brother Gary as well as her parents. Joyce’s children Belinda McConnell, Joe Rhodenizer, David Rhodenizer and Darlene Meisner will cherish her memory forever….she was the best. Joyce and Doug’s grandchildren Kelly, Sheena, Kate Ryan, Ashley and Justin will never forget their Gram who adored each one of them. Joyce’s legacy includes five wonderful great grandchildren Liam, Wyatt, Arlo, Ruby and Hank along with many nieces and nephews. The time that she had here on earth was well spent and filled with the love of friends and family. Joyce always had a smile for everyone. Joyce was an active member of St Rose of Lima Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister until due to ill health she could no longer attend mass. She was also very involved over the years in the Fall River Seniors Group where she served as past president and enjoyed the activities with all of her friends. Joyce was employed previously at Simpsons Sears and also as cafeteria manager at George P. Vanier Junior High School. Our family would like to thank everyone who helped in the care of our Mom. The kindness and professionalism of the staff at McNair Manor, Moncton Hospital and Lakeview Manor made our journey easier to
bear and much gratitude is extended to Dr Amy Brennan, our guardian angel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Atlantic Funeral Home in Lower Sackville and the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30 at 10:00 am at St Rose of Lima Church in Fall River. Burial to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St Rose of Lima Church towards the building of the new church hall.
