basketball at St. Mary’s Elementary School and Pine Ridge Elementary School,

and also soccer at Somerset. Joe was a quiet, gruff and passionate man, who

Dartmouth; his sisters, Michele Chiasson-Suart (Glenn Suart), Calgary;

Carole-Anne Chiasson (Aaron Smith) Toronto; and brothers, Kevin Chiasson (Michelle Vernooy), Vancouver; and Raymond and Jennifer (Chapman) Chiasson, Yellowknife; along with many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins,

aunts, uncles and his in-laws, Bonnie and Bob Johnson. Joe was predeceased by

Chiasson of New Waterford, and several uncles and aunts. A celebration of life

will be held Saturday, April 28th, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., in Morristown Baptist

Church, 6557 Aylesford Rd., Morristown, with Rev. Chad Clements officiating.

Following the service the family will proceed to the gravesite for a private

committal service, and then go to the Morristown Community Hall, 10 Prospect

Rd., Morristown, for a time of fellowship, refreshment and sharing. Donations in

Joe’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia would be

appreciated. “Hey man, thanks” is what Joe would have said, and our family

thank him for the years we had with him. We only wish there had been more.
