Peacefully at his home, Dreaming Acres, Brewer’s Mills surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday November 28, 2018. Joe Hogan, in his 63rd year. Cherished husband of Cindy Sutherland. Loving dad of Betty-Jo (Jeff) Almond of Guelph and Brandy (Ryan) Leegsma of Kingston. Predeceased by his pride and joy, Maddie. Dear brother and best friend of Greg (Brenda) as well as brother of Kathy (Kent) Hughson, Jerry and Archie (Danielle). Special uncle of Pam and Nick (Erica) Hogan. Loving papa of Hailey, Joseph, Landon, Spencer, Gilbert, Buffy-Anne and Howard. Cherished friend and brother of Lois and Robert Kennedy. Sadly missed by several close friends and other relatives. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Saturday from 5-8 and Sunday from 1-6. Funeral Service in Pinegrove Community Church, 3592 Pinegrove Road, Seeley’s Bay on Monday December 3, 2019 at 12 Noon followed by a reception in the Church Hall. Interment Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea joining his beloved Maddie on Saturday December 8, 2018 at 2 o’clock. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to Winter Warmth, Kingston or Pinegrove Community Church would be appreciated by the family.
