1931-2018
Joseph Boucher, 86, of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at
the Dr Georges L Dumont UHC, Moncton on Tuesday March 20, 2018. He
was married to the late Eva LeBlanc (1981) and the former Gloria
Arsenault. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Willie and
the late Lydie (LeBlanc) Boucher.
He will be sadly missed by his three children; Diane Allain (Joe) of
Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Guy (Lynda) of Pawcatuck, CT and Paul of
Niskayuna, NY, and his five grandchildren; Christina, Ryan, Joël,
Jérémie and Adam. He also leaves to mourn his six
sisters; Ida LeBlanc of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Irène Robichaud
(Ronald) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Léola Arsenault (Ronald) of
Hudson, Mass, Yvonne Richard (Ulysse) of Natick, Mass, Doris Bowles
(Pat) of Hudson, Mass and Maria Robichaud (Bob) of Holden, Mass and
three brothers; George (Anne) of Ottawa, Norman (Anne) of Holliday,
Fl. and Leo of Truro, NS as well as several nephews and nieces.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Friday March 23, 2018 from 7 to 9
and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated
at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on
Saturday March 24, 2018 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish
cemetery in the spring.
In Joseph’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation or to the Arthritis Society.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
