JOLIAT, Rollande (née Vachon)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Daughter of the late Narcisse and the late Clara (née Paquette) Vachon. Wife of the late Roger Joliat (2009). Loving mother of Lorraine Dupuis (Claude) of Azilda, Colette Joliat of Chelmsford and Estelle Joliat ( Glenn Warren) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brothers Aurélien (Constance of Chelmsford), Sylvio (Reina of Sudbury) and Julien (late Madeleine). Cherished grandmother of Josée Dupuis (Peter Kuk) of Milton, Céline Beaulieu (Ivan) of Azilda, Daniel Lemieux (Lyne) of Chelmsford and great-grandmother of Émilie, Maxwell, Brielle and Adrienne. Active member of the Paroisse Ste-Agnès, Rollande was a past president of the “Fédération des femmes canadiennes françaises” as well as an avid choir member. Although always devoted to her family, she found time to participate in various activities of Club Accueil Âge d’Or with good friends. The family wishes to acknowledge the Cedar Place staff for their exceptional compassion and care during her stay at Pioneer Manor. Relatives and friends are invited at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4690 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Friday, December 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
