CURRIER, John “Patrick”
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Patrick, at the age of 35, at his residence in Barrie. Beloved and treasured son of Jay and Kathy (Kirk). Fondly remembered by his brother James (Heidi) and nephews Bradburn and Harrison. Pre-deceased by his grandparents Jim and Gwen Currier and Jack and Babe Kirk. Survived by his loving step grandmother, Judith Kirk. Patrick will be sadly missed by numerous aunts, uncles and especially cousins. He will be forever in the hearts of so many close friends for his winning smile, sense of humour, hope, optimism and genial personality. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield, on Friday August 31st, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow in the Heritage Room of The Hendren Funeral Homes, Lakefield Chapel, 66 Queen Street. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.

  1. I knew Patrick at April Canada. He was so funny, made me laugh so hard. I was so shocked when I heard the news. I could not fathom that he was gone so soon. My condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P. sweet Patrick.
    I will miss your spirit and your winning smile.

  2. I am so sorry. Patrick was great and we had a lot of fun with him wakeboarding a few months ago. We will miss him terribly .

  3. Patrick , the short time I knew you I really enjoyed your company and smile. wake boarding with you a couple months ago was one of the best days I have had …. I wish we could do it again. Rest In Peace
