Obituary of John Roxburgh
ROXBURGH, John “Jay” passed away suddenly on Saturday November 17, 2018 while on vacation in Mexico in his 66th year.. Loving husband of Audrey, dear father of John (Natasha) of Niagara Falls and Doug (Rachel) of Edmonton. Cherished son of John and his wife Erica and June Miller. Sadly missed by his sisters Cindy (Don) McInally of Simcoe, Jacque (Steve) Newton of Woodstock and Vera (Mike) Crossley of Hannon. Lovingly cared for by 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters- in- laws Joe (Becky) Blake of Kitchener, Dennis (Minda) Blake of Port Dover, Dan (Maureen) Blake of Winnipeg, Paul (Cindy) Blake of Oakville, Kathleen (Dave) Musselman of Glen Meyer and Dave (Margaret) James of Simcoe. Predeceased by his first wife Victoria and step-father Robert Miller. Jay was a former Kinsmen member in Simcoe and was involved with minor hockey in Port Dover and Simcoe. Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Sunday December 2, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A Service of Remembrance and Prayers will be held in memory of Jay in the funeral home Chapel on Monday December 3, 2018 at 11am. Deacon Frank Chowhan officiating. For those wishing, donations to the London Health Sciences Victoria Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Simcoe and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
