John Philibert Pilon 2018

Obituary Overview
Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of John on December 5 at the age of 67 years.
John is survived by his wife Laurie; sons David and Rene; granddaughter Kaidence; sisters Alice, Monique, Yvette (Bob), Lucille, Denise and Suzanne; brothers David and Thomas; brother-in-law terry (Patricia); numerous nieces and nephews and honorary nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by very good friends Andy and Gisele and family, Mike and Collette and families as well as mother-in-law Helen Howard.
John was predeceased by his parents Philibert and Cecile, father-in-law Irwin Howard and several aunts and uncles.
John’s family was extremely important to him with his pride and joy being his granddaughter, with his eyes lighting up every time she entered the room. He considered himself a jack of all trades (but a master of none). During his 20 years working for EMS he made many lasting friendships and his EMS family was a very important part of his life. Whenever John had some spare time, he got enjoyment out of flying his remote control airplanes, building some very unique bird houses and of course inventing things.
John did not wish for a formal service at this time, however there will be a celebration of his life in late spring.
In memory of John, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5, or to Diabetes Canada, 401-1 Wesley Ave
Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6
