John Francis Murphy July 30 1939 May 3 2018 (age 78)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of John Francis Murphy at Loch Lomond Village on May 3, 2018. Born on July 30, 1939 in Central Greenwich, NB, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ada (Wright) Murphy.
John was full of love. He loved to play ball with the kids in his family when they were little, and in later years he loved to watch the kids play out in the yard. He loved to see his family and receive visitors. He was a fan of country music and playing cards, but his biggest joy was his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother Dwayne (Brendena) Murphy, his sister Wanda (David) Chandler, his nieces Carol and Maggie and his nephews Bill, Nicholas and Joey and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother James and his sisters; Anna Kelly, Winnie Mazerolle and Carol Murphy.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Sunday from 6-8pm. A funeral liturgy will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 3:30pm. The family would like any donations to be made to the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
