John Edward Hills
February 14, 1939 – February 23, 2018
~ Retired 32 year employee of the Toronto Transit Commission ~ It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we advise of the passing of Jack “Buddy” Hills after a brief but valiant battle. Cherished husband of 57 years to the late Carol (2017), beloved father of Julie (Kirk), Derek (Tammy), and Paul (Karen), loved grandfather of Cory, Riley, Kiersten, Alexander, Kaley, Matthew, Caleb and Colton and faithful companion to his golden retriever, Dazzie Girl. Faithful partner to his beloved Carol, he honoured her by carrying on their valued friendships and making her proud with his new found love of jam and jelly making. Reunited by a love too strong to deny. Rest In Peace Buddy with all our love. Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, specifically Courtney in ICU and Teresa in the 6B Nursing Unit for their loving and compassionate care.
