John J. Doran
DORAN, John Joseph – born December 29, 1947. John passed away in his 71st year at Belleville General Hospital on Saturday August 18, 2018. Son of the late “Jack” John and Muriel Doran. Loving brother of Donna (Tom) Clifford, Jane Langabeer and Timothy M. Doran. Predeceased by his wife Patricia. Proud, loving father of Timothy J. (Lisa) Doran, Angela (Steve) Pinder, Adam Doran and Sean Doran. Doting Grandfather to Jacob, Alden, Elijah, Jack and Noah. John was a dedicated educator who applied his B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., (Queens) to his long teaching career at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf. John was a great storyteller who deeply enjoyed his family, his loyal and many friends, boating, fishing, travelling adventures and golf. He was full of energy and positivity and brightened any room he walked in to. His spirit and his love of life will be missed by all. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613 968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 399 Victoria Ave., Belleville on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. www.burkefuneral.ca
