The passing of John Charles Baird of Taymouth, NB, husband of Nancy (Horsch) Baird occurred on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Fredericton Hospice House. Born on November 16, 1940 in Chipman, NB, he was the son of the late Dr. C. Calvin and Myrl (Forsythe) Baird. John was a Biologist with the Department of Natural Resources.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children, Wendy Blauvelt of Windham, ME, Peter Baird of Prince George, BC, David Baird (Francesca) of Durham, CT and Laurie Baird of Antigonish, NS; grandchildren, Samuel and Andrew Blauvelt and Grace Baird Wilson; sister, Carolyn Forden (Harley) of Ontario; brother, Richard Baird (Linda) of Scarborough, ME; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no service by request. Memorial donations may be made to Fredericton Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
