Obituary of JoAnne Paciocco-Brisland
Died peacefully, with family by her side at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, January 02, 2018 at the age of 83 years.
Survived by her husband of 18 years, Derek Brisland, her children Stephen (Laurie) Paciocco, David (Pamela) Paciocco, Brian (Darlene) Paciocco, Cheryl Desjardins (Dan Iozzo) and Carole (Murray) Stephen as well as Derek’s children Anne Facey (Shane Verbiski), Richard (Monica) Brisland, Paul (Catherine) Brisland, Claire Brisland (Douglas Griffioen) and Christopher (Tami) Brisland. JoAnne is also survived by her 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her first husband of 44 years, Rudy Paciocco, her parents Frank and Marie (nee Hatch) Dart, her sister Carole, her sons-in-law Mike Desjardins, Tim Facey and great grandson Maxwell.
JoAnne will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother as well as an accomplished artist and decorator.
Friends are invited to share their memories of JoAnne with her family during visitation at St. Agatha RC Church, 1839 Notre Dame Drive, St. Agatha, on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6-7 p.m. The Vigil Prayer service will follow at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Cremation and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
