June 4, 1931 – January 17, 2018
Passed peacefully on January 17, 2018 at the age of 86. Reunited with husband Victor Chene (1996) and children Victoria (1953) and Marie (2001) and brother Charles Richard (2008). Loving mother of Ann White (Bill) and Phyllis Chene-LaBute (Mike). Caring Mim to Jeff, Scott, Jason, Keith, Charlotte, Carmen, JoAnne, Roxanne and Tina. Will be forever missed by her 17 great-grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren and two great great great grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff of Extendicare Southwood Lakes for your care and compassion over the last few years.
Visitation will be held at Marcotte Funeral Home on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm with parish prayers at 4pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh) for 10:30am. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
