Joanann “Joan” Shirley Quaintance
Quaintance, Joanann “Joan” Shirley (Bowman), age 74, of Hammonds Plains passed away Friday September 14, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Halifax, NS, she was a daughter of the late Gloria (Swinemar) and Maxwell Bowman.
She is survived by her husband, David Quaintance; daughters, Natalie (Quaintance) Webb of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and Kathryn (Quaintance) Essency of Hammonds Plains, NS; son, Craig Quaintance of Hammonds Plains, NS; sister, Valerie (Bowman) Blackwood of Fall River, NS; brother, Kendal Bowman of Dartmouth, NS; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Tantallon, Friday September 21 at 11:00 am with reception to follow in the church hall.
Donations may be made to Parkinsons Canada, Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation or charity of choice.
