Passed away at Wellington Park Care Centre, on October 22, 2018, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of William Kotyk. Loving mother of Robert Kotyk (Dawn), Craig Kotyk (Nancy), Patricia McGarry (Frank) and Susan Kotyk (Hugo Sousa). Proud grandmother of Jamie Ferreira (Jay), Jeff McGarry (Lauren), Jim Kotyk, Chad Kotyk (Laura), Nicole Kotyk, Kevin Kotyk, Chantelle Kotyk, Michael Spina, Christopher Spina and Nicholas Spina. Cherished great-grandmother of Sienna, Brayden, Dylan, Trestin, Jackson, Marcus, Jake and Nathan. Dear sister of Marlene Norton.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 12:00pm until the time of Service of Remembrance at 1:00pm. Reception to follow. Interment Parklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan to a charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
